A great resource for a one off lesson on tonal shading and the development of accurate portraiture. This sheet guides through a graduated tonal ladder to allow pencil technique development, through to symmetry in the completion of a female portrait. This would be a great one off lesson, cover sheet, or used as part of a series of lessons looking to develop pencil skills or tonal portraiture skills.

Photoshop top tips will allow student to be independent and work on this on their own without input fromt he teacher. Therefore this is ideal for a non specialist teacher who may be covering a lesson.

The beauty of this resources is that it can be used over and over again as asks students to draw something on their person (This could be different each time the activity is undertaken).

This full powerpoint lesson introduces students to the art department with opportunity to discuss the Art department rules and expectations, particularly with safety. It then moves through key terms such as contour to encourage use of accurate art vocabulary when discussing an art work. The technique of pastel transfer printing is then demonstrated through a video made by myself. The video can be left on loop throughout the lesson so that students may refer back to it at anytime. There is a plenary task with reflection on the main activity and resources for printing/ certificates that can be awarded for excellent artwork. This is a fantastic one off lesson that can be used for years 5, 6, 7

This full lesson powerpoint including worksheets and support resources to be used within the lesson, guides students through describing and analysing artwork. Base din the work of Vincent Van Gogh, students are shown how to break down the formal elements of art into discussions of emotion and if there are wider world commentaries present within the painting. The powerpoint has instructions for use in the notes section, but is in general very user friendly and would be suitible for experienced and non experienced teachers to use. Suggested lesson length - 1 hour.

This lesson includes discussion tasks surrounding the quality of student example drawings and a student led example of how to use fine line pens in order to work int he style of Van Gogh. This also includes resources to work from including support sheets for less able. Very simple to follow with instructions in notes section if required.

This resources includes full lessons suitable for both experienced and non experienced/ non specialist teachers to deliver to KS3 students. All lessons are aimed to last an hour and there are 7 lessons within the sequence. The sequence of lessons includes: 1 point perspective 2 point perspective 3 point perspective oblique projection isometric projection designing with isometric projection Rendering This sequence of lessons is used within the graphics discipline within my current establishment with great success and positive feedback from both teaching staff and students alike. Teachers have commented on the ease of use and the high quality of the work produced by students.
